Tackle Tech dragging weight inserts

Tackle Tech dragging weight inserts allow anglers to make their own high quality dragging weights both quickly and at a savings of over 50% vs buying them. Each pack contains 12 tops & 12 bottoms. The inserts attach securely insuring they don't pull out even during the harsh demands of dragging in heavy structure.

Simply purchase your preferred 3/8” diameter shrink tubing ( We recommend using a Marine grade shrink tubing w/adhesive inner wall) cut the tubing to the desired length. Apply a tiny drop of gel super glue to the ridges of the bottom cap and insert into tubing. Shrink the tubing to the insert and fill tubing with shot (#7 or #8) allowing for top cap to be inserted. Apply gel super glue to ridges of top cap & insert in tubing. Shrink entire body of weight while being careful not to concentrate heat too long in one area so as not to damage shrink tubing or caps. Entire process takes less than 2 min on average.
