Simply clean & dry the area of the board where you are going to place the light, peel the protective film off the 3M adhesive back on the STARLIGHT planer board light then firmly press & hold to the planer board for 1 minute.

To activate the light twist the L.E.D body, remove plug seal in back of light insert L.E.D & push plug seal back in place. 

Remove L.E.D & deactivate when done fishing.

Each light is powered by 3 tiny & inexpensive LR41 batteries. Burn time is typically 14-24 hours depending on quality of batteries used. Replacement batteries can be purchased on amazon, Walmart, batteries plus, etc.
